Food is pretty sexy in its own right, but what we may forget is that certain foods can actually put you in the mood for romance. Aphrodisiacs as they are known, are foods that can get you feeling hot under the collar and ready for some frisky fun. 

But how do they work and what foods could be aphrodisiacs?

The idea of an aphrodisiac is that it is going to release those much-needed feel-good compounds that will help your body to feel ready to welcome some romance. Another way that aphrodisiacs work is that they will improve the blood flow around your body, which means that the blood is going to flow to your most private parts (ideal if you want to get yourself ready for some naked time).

Whilst oysters might not look good, they are such a good boost to your sex drive. The first reason is simply because they look pretty rude, but another reason is because they are high in zinc, which is not only key in regulating sexual hormones, but also in the production of semen too. When you also consider all that licking and slurping that goes on, you can easily see how it gets you going.
