5 Common Mistakes That Are Ruining Your Skin!
SOS! Wondered what you are doing wrong? And why your skin isn’t smooth and spot free? Well your f****** up your skin if you are making these mistakes. So take notes!
Mistake # 1: Touching Your Face Too Much
Your hand is probably on your face right now. We all inevitably touch out face, when we are on the phone, binging on netflix… I could go on, but you get my point. Your hands carry the most bacteria, and all your doing is spreading it to your face - which probably has caused some nasty pimples. So bare this in mind, it’s simple really.
Mistake # 2: Using Hot Water to Wash Your Face
Too much hot water will dry your skin out and cause damage. You may find it soothing and relaxing. BUT it is stripping the skin, taking away all the necessary oils that your skin needs to be healthy. So instead, just wash with warm water. You will feel and see the effects in an instant.
Mistake # 3: Not Cleansing Your Face Long Enough
Your skin shouldn’t be cared for just at night! Don’t be lazy! There is the 60-second rule, that YOU MUST cleanse your skin for at least 60 seconds. In 60 seconds you will break apart all the dirt and pollution from the surface of your skin and wash it right off.
Mistake # 4: Using Pore-Clogging Makeup
We may look and love a makeup product because of the aesthetic, rather than what the ingredients are. You need to know what to be looking for and the science behind what it is your really applying to your face, So research what ingredients do what, look for non-comedogenic products in particular too!
Mistake # 5: Rubbing Your Skin Too Hard
Be gentle with yourself and skin. A common mistake we make is by being too aggressive and harsh to the skin, causing aggreviaiton. Not only is it damaging to the skin but it will cause fine lines and wrinkles. So just make sure you are gentle when applying any product, using a light hand to lather on products. Don’t age your face whilst you are young by being too harsh.
Stay young forever, and don’t make these silly mistakes.
